An update and some bad news...

So I've been talking to a few of you via chat and email and I just wanted to put this up here.

Since arriving in Boracay, I've been developing an allergy to the blood pressure medication that I've been taking. I've been tired for most of my stay there, and I've been absent for a lot of the clubbing, ATVing, and eating. In reality, I was in the hotel room fighting off anaphylactic shock. Needless to say, waking up with swollen lips, racing heart, skyrocketing blood pressure, and a lack of appetite calls for a trip home back to the USA. I'm actually pretty lucky considering my throat didn't swell up while far away from a hospital, and after talking to my dad, going home is the best option at this time.

So Da Jeepney Diaries ends for me here. I have to skip out on the trip to Thailand and Vietnam so Jules and Paolo will be finishing the trip without me. I'll still be blogging when I can and I'll have my dad's laptop for my trip home. God knows I'll need it with the 8 hour layover in Taipei...

I'll be coming home on Friday the 8th. I'm really bummed that I have to go, but excited to see you all.
